Fever Whiz can turn your log into a report for your pediatrician or another caregiver.
It covers your child's temperatures, medications and symptoms for the dates you choose.
The report is made on your phone, so it works offline and includes entries that haven't synced yet.
Create a report
- Open your child and tap the Care & Info tab.
- Tap Share a Report.
- Under Date range, pick 7 days, 14 days, 30 days or 90 days, or tap Custom to choose your own dates.
- Under Activities, choose what to include.
- Under Format, choose PDF or CSV.
- Turn Include notes on or off.
For a PDF, you can also turn Include every entry on or off.
- Tap Preview PDF or Share CSV.
For a PDF, check the preview, then tap Share to send it by email, message or another app, or Print to print it.
For a CSV, your phone's share sheet opens straight away.
Report one illness
To cover exactly one illness, start from its episode:
- Open your child and tap the Episodes tab.
- Open the episode and tap the share icon.
The Date range is already set to the episode, from the day symptoms started to the day it ended (or today, if it's still ongoing).
See How to track an illness with episodes.
PDF or CSV?
- PDF: An easy-to-read summary with the highest temperature, doses, illness episodes, a medications table, the temperature curve and a day-by-day table.
Include every entry adds the full list of entries after the summary.
- CSV: Every entry as a spreadsheet you can open in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.
The report only describes what you logged.
It doesn't give advice or a diagnosis.
Ask the assistant
If you use the assistant (the yellow button on your child's screen), you can ask it for a report, for example "Make a report for the last week".
It gives you a link that opens the same Share a Report screen with the dates already set.
You can check and change everything before you share.
Troubleshooting
- "Choose at least one activity.": Select at least one activity under Activities.
- "Can't finish the PDF": Some text in the report needs a font that is downloaded once.
Connect to the internet and try again, or share a CSV instead.
- "The report couldn't be created. Please try again.": Close the report screen and try again.
If it keeps happening, try a shorter date range or a CSV.
- An entry is missing: Check that its date is inside the date range, and that its activity is selected under Activities.
Entries other caregivers logged appear once they have synced to your phone.
